This allows the two battery banks (start and aux) to be charged simultaneously, ensuring that both batteries are fully charged and ready to be used.

This system eliminates the possibility of draining the start battery, which can be especially problematic if you're out on the road. When the engine is turned off and the combined voltage drops below 12.8 volts, the VSR disengages, separating the batteries and preventing any further discharge of the start battery.
